A FOUR night event featuring a mix of motorhome camping and live entertainment will be held at the Bath & West Showground in early September.

The South West Motorhome & Campervan Show will be held from Thursday, September 4, to Sunday, September 7.

Live music will be performed from 7.30pm on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while Sunday’s events are set to begin at 7pm, with the shows coming to an end at 11pm each night.

Guests can book a 10m x 8m pitch to bring their motorhome to the event at a cost of £85, where access to the live music is completely free, alongside the option to secure a seat at the headline show.

Camping pitches will also include a 12 months access to the What Motorhome digital archive.

Pitches include access for two adults and up to three children under the age of 18.

Alongside the live music, there will be a extensive exhibition area with new and used vehicles for sale, thousands of accessories, a motorhome manoeuvring course and a packed advice centre featuring 18 free talks to choose from.

The live talks will be coming from a varied line up of industry experts and personalities.

The live music offerings open up on Thursday with performances of songs from the band Smokie, as well as a performance from Bon Adams, a tribute act performing songs by Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams.

On Friday, more tribute bands will take the stage as The Police Force will perform hits from The Police and from Sting’s solo career, while Mercury will sing some of Queen’s greatest hits.

Katerina (formerly of Katerina and the Waves) and The Total Who Show will appear on Saturday, while Women in Rock will close out the weekend’s performances on Sunday, September 7.

The event is organised by Warners Shows.
