A successful day of showjumping and fundraising was held at Tunley Equestrian Centre last Sunday.
The day was open to local riders and liveries and catered for all ages and
abilities. The event started with Eleanor (aged four) first in the arena riding Jacob, a miniature Shetland, trotting over poles with help from Mum, Jilly Clarke. In the afternoon the more experienced riders competed, jumping up to three feet.
“We wanted to have a fun day at the yard that would also raise some money for charity,” said Nikki Collard the event organiser. “We were thrilled to raise £196, which is being donated to the Willberry Wonder Pony fund. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the day.”
Tunley Equestrian Centre provides livery and schooling for all types of owners and riders. The star of the yard is Lauren Collard and her horse, Orien Britespark. Together at Dauntsey, they finished fourth with a superb double clear, qualifying for an amazing fourth time to compete next year at Badminton Grassroots Championships.
