The Six Nations Championship has rolled around again, and will kick off on Saturday.
Two rugby games will be played on Saturday 4th February, starting with Wales v Ireland at 2:15 PM. England v Scotland will be on a little later in the day, with kick off at 4:45 PM.
Last time the tournament was played, France took home the crown. Will England do it for us this year? Find out by keeping up with the action over the next five weeks.
Some of our local venues will be showing the matches this rugby season, so why not join in with the atmosphere and (hopefully) cheer the boys on to the final?
Venues showing the Six Nations
Mallards - will be showing all games and running special offers during the tournament.
Mardons - will be showing games on the big screen.
Midsomer Norton RFC - Showing all the fixtures, plus hosting their own matches outside. They say it will be a "real feast of rugby". Free entry.
The Riverside - Showing all matches on the screen, with drinks promotions during England games.
The Red Lion (Paulton) - will be showing all matches. Flag decorations have been added to the pub in spirit!
The Redan Inn (Chilcompton) - All games will be shown in their heated marquee. They will be running deals on food and drink whilst games are shown.
Midsomer Norton RFC are particularly excited about the events over the next few weeks.
Chairman of the club, Alex Davies, said:
"We are really pleased to be showing the Six Nations. It's always a good atmosphere at the club and we welcome members and non-members alike to come along and give us a try. On the Saturdays it will be a proper feast of rugby as we'll also have our rugby on outside on our wonderful pitches - including a top of the table clash between Norton and Cinderford this Saturday".
