LOCALLY renowned fundraiser Rosemary Blanchford has hosted her final garden lunch party after 11 years, having raised thousands for charity in the process.

The most recent event was held at her home in Midsomer Norton on Tuesday, June 24, with 143 in attendance.

Rosemary organised a marquee and made plenty of food like quiches and roulades, but she said she could not pull it off without the generous assistance she has received over the years.

She was presented with a signed photograph of celebrity chef Mary Berry and was given a certificate for all her fundraising efforts.

This year’s garden lunch raised £6,600 for the Royal United Hospital Bath breast care unit, taking the total raised over the past 11 years of events to more than £60,000.
