For years and years, the White Hart in Midsomer Norton has welcomed organisations, charities, sports clubs and many, many regular customers.
The Carnival Club, the Rugby Club, Welton White Hart, The Mendip Boys, The Lifeboat Association, The Buffs, The Folk Club, The Mad Hatters, hundreds of skittles players and countless other groups have found a home here.
A plan has been hatched for all these people to step back in time and revisit, for one night, the place that made a mark at some point in their lives – which maybe forged a lasting friendship, began a courtship or even started a dynasty – but whatever, the ‘Hart’ played a part.
The plan is to hold a night of reunion, a chance to meet up with faces we remember and times that were good, interesting, wicked, often messy and sometimes amazing.
Tickets include music and food with surplus going to the charity, Macmillan. This will be a celebration to recall how we partied, laughed and enjoyed each other’s company for so many years. You know who you are, or were, so come along and kick start this festive season wtih a night of pure nostalgia.
The event will be held on 10th December, with the pub closed to the general public that evening, which starts at 8 p.m. Tickets available from the White Hart, Muffins bakery in the High Street, or for details, call: 01761 418270 or JD on: 07592 393420.
