New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: New Bengal Spice at 1 Queens Road, Clevedon, North Somerset; rated on April 24

• Rated 1: Aqua at Spinnaker, 21 Harbour Road, Portishead, Bristol; rated on April 24

• Rated 1: Burger Barn at 13 Regent Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset; rated on April 24

• Rated 1: Le French Corner Clevedon at 36-38 Hill Road, Clevedon; rated on April 24

It means that of North Somerset's 291 similar establishments with ratings, 209 (72%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
