New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Old Bath Arms, at 1 Palmer Street, Frome was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 1.

And The Star Inn, at 13 Middle Street, Taunton, Somerset was also given a score of four on November 1.

It means that of Somerset's 618 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 483 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
