New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Apple Tree Inn, at Appletree Inn, West Pennard, Glastonbury, Somerset was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 12.

And The Crown Inn, Keyford, at The Crown Inn, 24 Keyford, Frome, Somerset was also given a score of four on November 12.

It means that of Somerset's 581 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 470 (81%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
