A new, free cookery course for people over 55 years of age, starts in Timsbury in February.

Called Cook and Eat, the six-week course is being run at The Conygre Hall, by local charity Age UK B&NES working with Bath College.

The six-week course will provide all the knowledge and skill you’ll need to create delicious and nutritious dishes. Whether you’re a skilled cook whose nutritional knowledge could do with a brush-up, or you don’t know how to turn the cooker on, the course can help.

The course is being led by Fatina Cummings, a qualified and experienced Community Learning tutor, and all ingredients and equipment will be provided.

It takes place on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 1.30 p.m., on February 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th and March 7th and 14th. At the end of each session, those taking part will share the dishes they have made together.

If you are interested in attending, you will need to register in advance – please call Lynsey Parsons on: 01225 328822 orr Vicki Chapman on 01761 433161 ext 330.
