On Saturday, 20th November, a group of friends set off from Radstock on a sponsored cycle to raise funds for Macmillan.

Linney Trott, Nicky Gilroy, Emma Perry and her son, Jorge, along with Claire Emery and Becky Young rode 53km in cold weather, leaving from the Radstock cycle track and ending their route back at the Radstock Hotel.

The ride took them over four hours, taking them through the two tunnels on their way into Bath. So far, the amount that has been raised is over £700.

Linney Trott, who arranged fundraising, was so proud of those that took part, she said: “It was a fantastic credit to the other girls and Jorge and the ride was full of smiles and fun.” Emma Parry
