Road closures: one for Mendip drivers over the next fortnightThe well-known banking company will close its doors on one hundred and fourteen of its branches throughout the UK, following a decline in customers since the pandemic.
Frome HSBC, which sits in an old, central building in the town, has been announced as one of the branches set to close in the region.
At the time of writing, Bath was saved from axing and will be part of three hundred and twenty seven branches to benefit from the banking giants investment in the aim of improving the remaining branches.
