Residents from Westfield and the local area enjoyed glorious sunshine last Sunday for the Parish’s Family Fun Day, which took place over the afternoon at Westhill Gardens Recreational Field.

Families were able to enjoy the entertainment in the ring, which saw performances by the Bathampton Morris Men, Punch and Judy, Dog Trainers and Dance and Martial Arts displays.

The event was opened by Westfield’s Marathon man, John Reynolds, who told the audience about his newly-established running clubs, which are off to a flying start.

There were also displays by the Norton Radstock Classic Vehicle Club, Bath Records office and the Somerset and Dorset Railway Heritage Trust. Wansdyke Play Association were also on hand for fun and games in the park. Westfield Ward Councillor, Robin Moss, said: “It was a really good day, with lots of people coming out to support it and of course, the great weather helped!”
