A Flower Festival is to be held at Leigh-on-Mendip’s fifteenth century church over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

There will also be a historical display and a concert. Proceeds will go towards

supporting the restoration and future of the church.

Leigh-on-Mendip’s St Giles Church is trying to raise money to repair the church roof. TV presenter, Kevin McCloud recently became a patron of Friends of St Giles, an organisation set up to run the fundraising project.
