New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Bath and North East Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Coffee #1 at Unit 1, Royal View, Victoria Bridge Road, Westmoreland; rated on July 18

• Rated 5: New Manor Farm Shop Tearooms at New Manor Farm, Bath Road, West Harptree, Bristol; rated on July 17

• Rated 5: Plant.Eat.Licious at Basement, St James Memorial Hall, Lower Borough Walls, City Centre; rated on July 15

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And four ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Carpenters Arms at Wick Lane, Stanton Drew; rated on July 17

• Rated 5: The Waldegrave at Waldegrave Arms, Church Lane, East Harptree, Bristol; rated on July 17

• Rated 5: New Inn at Bath Road, Farmborough, Bath; rated on July 16

• Rated 5: Be At One at Be At One Limited, 11 Brunel Square, Bath; rated on June 13
