New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Mendip’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen, at Unit 37a, Clarks Village, Farm Road, Street was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 17.
And Starbucks Coffee, at Sainsbury Supermarket, Gravenchon Way, Street was also given a score of five on November 17.
It means that of Mendip's 195 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 166 (85%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
