New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

5tar Fish and Gourmet Kebabs, at 14 Feniton, Clovelly Road, Worle, Weston-Super-Mare was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 24.

And Cherry Blossom, at 21-23 Weston Road, Long Ashton, Bristol North Somerset was also given a score of five on October 24.

It means that of North Somerset's 141 takeaways with ratings, 78 (55%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
