Members of the Pressed Flower Guild South- West Group gathered for their alternate monthly meeting in January in Timsbury and celebrated a member's 100th birthday.
Vera Coslett, from Midsomer Norton, has been a regular member of the group for several years and has been enjoying her pressed flower hobby for very many more. She donates the cards she makes to her church, to the Guild for sale at craft shows, as well as sending them to friends and relatives. She is an extremely talented lady and much admired by members.
The group sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed a piece of birthday cake before she was whisked away by daughter, Joan, to continue celebrating with local friends.
