Tabor was celebrating its 161st Anniversary and the service was led by Mrs Rosanna Blewitt. The Ringers played a couple of hymns and concluded the service with a rendition of Happy Birthday.

The Ringers have just short of one hundred pieces of music in the library. As lockdown forced rehearsals to stop, it has been decided to familiarise themselves with all the music, starting at A and working through the whole repertoire. This is proving to be a profitable exercise by providing an opportunity for leader, Ms Angie Poole, to make adjustments to music which may have been put aside for one reason or another.

The whole team are enjoying the challenge of playing more complicated music so this process has created an opportunity for team building without the pressure of rehearsing for engagements.

That is not to say, however, engagements will not be carried out, so if there are any local clubs who would like to be entertained by the Ringers, then please contact our Secretary, Mrs Barb Spalding on: (01761) 752177.

There is no charge for services although a donation is welcome which helps us support local charities as need arises.
