High Littleton and Hallatrow Yarnbombers are appealing for information regarding a piece of work that has been stolen, following public display in the village last week.

Yarnbomb member, Sandra Roberts, said: “On Saturday, 18th August, The Yarnbombers decorated High Littleton and Hallatrow with lots of knitted and crocheted items to promote the annual Village Day, on Saturday, 25th August.

“Amongst the various ‘Sand and Sea’-themed items was one of our biggest displays, our Punch and Judy tent with Mr Punch and Judy, and a string of sausages. Sadly, sometime overnight, it was stolen.

“The ladies who come to the Yarnbombers meetings have been working hard for the last year to produce all of these items, and are all devastated that it has been stolen. We would love to see its safe return and to be able to put it back on display. Any help would be appreciated. Many Thanks.”
