People living in Peasedown St John and the surrounding area are being invited to the village’s next big community breakfast.

The village’s Residents’

Association, which was set up in 2013 to organise social events for the community, is hosting the event. B&NES Councillor Karen Walker (Independent, Peasedown St John) said: “The Residents’ Association has worked hard over the last three years and developed a reputation for putting on fun and enjoyable events for local people. This next Big Breakfast event follows on from a year of successful events.”

Peasedown’s Big Breakfast will be held on Thursday, 24th November, from 10 a.m. –

1 p.m. at St John’s Close Community Room (BA2 8JG), next to Albert Avenue. All funds raised will help fund community events for the year ahead.

Please note, this month the event is on the last Thursday of the month, instead of the last Friday. Cllr Walker added: “I would encourage everyone to come along and support the upcoming Big Breakfast. Peasedown Residents’ Association has

already raised almost £3,000 over the last year from successful grant applications and fundraising. Of which, all the money is going straight back into paying for community activities.”
