Over 200 people joined protesters in Bath on Saturday, 1st April in a march against the local authority.
Campaign groups in the city, including Save Bathampton Meadows, Stop Arts Cuts and Save Bath Library, joined together under the name Bath Deserves Better to protest a variety of projects they feel the Council are pushing through without proper consultation.
Campaigners have been demanding a public meeting with B&NES Council chaired by an independent moderator to properly debate several issues, such as the library and the east of Bath Park and Ride. It has been reported that the Council say the earliest they can meet is at a Council meeting in July.
