The last Monday in November saw The Tabor Ringers, based at Tabor

Independent Methodist Church, Timsbury, on a return visit to Pine Lea Day Care Centre with, once again, a fantastic audience.

The Ringers took this opportunity to showcase their new backdrops made by a group member, Mrs Carole Chivers, along with new scarves/ties for the bell ringers and necklaces for the chime ringers. Ray Chivers came along to photograph the occasion.

Friday, 2nd December saw the Ringers at the Keynsham Day Care Centre, with them performing again at Manor Farm Care Home, Radstock, the following Monday. Kilmersdon W.I Christmas Party was the next venue on Thursday of that week, and Whitehaven Care Home, Midsomer Norton, came next on Monday, 12th December. The 16th December found them at Combe Lea, Midsomer Norton, followed by their own Church Carol Service on 18th December. The final engagement before Christmas was on Monday, 19th December, at The Laurels Care Home in their home village.

On all of these occasions, the group was led by Angie Poole, and, except for the Carol Service at Tabor, they were ably supported by Community Singing led by Linda Lye, recitations by Carol Wilkes or humorous anecdotes/ recitations by Dianne Carter.

Bookings are already being taken for 2017. If you would like us to visit your group, please contact Mrs Brimble on (01761) 470891.
