If you fancy a night of top class live music, why not head on down to Midsomer Norton Town Hall for the first ever Jazz Bar night? Performing at the inaugural event will be Azhaar and Global Wave next Friday, 16th September with doors opening at 7.30 p.m. for an 8 p.m. start.

Azhaar is a versatile jazz violinist and vocalist, who made her name fronting the excellent Brazilian Jazz group, Sirius B. She returns from travelling and touring the Americas with her new project, Global Wave. Azhaar is joined by Tom Berge on keyboards, Guillaume Ottavio on bass, Paolo Adamo on drums, and Ivan Moreno on percussion. With a great line-up, the band create a fantastic soundscape using jazz textures, world rhythms, funky grooves and songs.

To celebrate the first Jazz Bar, entry for the concert is free – with donations welcomed. Refreshments are available from the fully licensed Sarah Ann Bar.
