The Lions’ Carol float is a familiar sight in Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Farrington Gurney, Hallatrow, High Littleton, Timsbury and Peasedown St John. It did not happen last year because of Covid restrictions, but we are gearing up to take our float around again this year.
The float transports Father Christmas, bringing joy to children and raising funds for our charity activities. However, our activities will be much curtailed if we cannot get more help.
Caravan owners – here is an opportunity to test your reversing skills
negotiating the float around our streets! We also need people to carry collecting buckets and knock on doors.
