We have started to play again after a break of some eighteen months due to Covid, some members did manage to fit in a friendly game online during this break.

We finished the 2019 season at the Semi-Final stage of the Club Knockout Championships, so starting in 2021, we had to play these matches before this season’s knock-out games started.

Steve Cook had managed to play his semi-final before lockdown, but Dave Sherborne and Joe Clapp had theirs to play, which Dave managed to win after a very close and long game.

Dave also went on to win the final against Steve.

2021/2022 season wil be different, as there will be no inter-club matches, a decision on this will be made next year – but knock-out games and quick play matches at home, plus friendly matches, will be played as normal.

New members are always welcome – we play at Westfield Church Hall every Thursday, starting at 7.30 pm. All ages welcome.
