I now have a brilliant but unwieldy expanse of hair on my chin.

What with the terrible events happening in Ukraine (and some prompting from my wife) I have decided that this is the time to do something worthwhile and shave the beard off. I want to do this to raise some money for the Disaster Emergencies Committee, a fabulous organisation that is non-political and who ensures that the money gets to the people who need it most.

I know that many of us are worried about fuel cost increases and the rising cost of living but please take a moment to consider what the ordinary people of the Ukraine have lost.
