A popular Lunch Club in Peasedown St John is running successfully once again, thanks to local volunteers.

Local charity, Age UK B&NES, took over the running of the club earlier this year when Pam Wright retired after twenty years and at the same time, the volunteers who worked with her also stepped down.

Age UK B&NES appealed for volunteers to ensure the future of the club and thanks to a number of people coming forward, is running the Lunch Club once a month at

Beacon Hall.

However, more volunteers are still needed to help with preparing and serving food, as well as spending time with the people who attend.
