Temporary footpath closures planned for new access road
Bath and North East Somerset Council has made a temporary order to close two public footpaths, BA27/28 and BA27/27.
Footpath BA27/28 will be closed from its junction with Bath Road and will run south for around 199 metres. Footpath BA27/27 will be closed from a nearby point and will run east-south-east for around 259 metres.
The closures are needed so that work can be carried out near the footpaths.
The temporary closures began on December 6 and will remain in place until January 31.

Council plans temporary closure of footpaths near Gloucester Road
Bath and North East Somerset Council plans to temporarily close sections of three public footpaths: BA24/9, BA24/10 and BA24/19.
Footpath BA24/9 will be closed from its junction with Gloucester Road and will run north for about 331 metres to its junction with Footpath BA24/10. Footpath BA24/10 will be closed from Gloucester Road and will run north for around 432 metres to the same junction point. Footpath BA24/19 will be closed from Gloucester Road and will run north-east for approximately 85 metres to its junction with Footpaths BA2/49A and BA2/51.
The closures are needed to allow ground investigation works to be carried out near the footpaths.
The temporary closures are due to start on January 19 and will remain in place until March 20.
Public footpath to close temporarily for housing development
Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order to temporarily close a short section of public footpath BC65/4.
The closure affects the section of the footpath starting at its junction with Warminster Road and running north-north-west for around 30 metres.
The footpath will be closed to allow building works to take place nearby.
The closure will begin on January 5 and will remain in place for up to six months.
