Solicitors Thatcher + Hallam have joined up with their Midsomer Norton neighbours, accountancy practice, King Watkins, to give a free presentation at the Radstock Museum. The presentation will be about the importance of making a Will, including the disasters that can happen if you don’t make a Will.
The event takes place at the Museum at 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st January. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available and at the end of the presentation, (estimated at 7 p.m.), volunteers will be providing a free tour of the Radstock Museum.
The event is free, and there is no need to book. The event is, however, likely to be popular, so early arrival is advised.
“We are extremely fortunate to be able to take up the offer of the Museum to host the event on Tuesday, 21st January,” says Thatcher + Hallam solicitor and partner, George Persson. “We also are incredibly grateful for their offer to provide a free tour of the Museum once the talk is completed. Whether you are thinking of retiring, have moved house or your first child has just been born, this is an event that every family can benefit from.”
As well as George Persson and his colleagues from Thatcher + Hallam, also in attendance will be Graeme King, a Director at accountants, King Watkins.
“We are absolutely delighted to have such a well-known and highly respected local accountant as Graeme King present the event with us,” adds George.
“All of us make New Year Resolutions. Very often we promise (even us solicitors!) that we will at long last write our Will, but there is always an excuse and we end up putting it all off for another year.
“In 2020, however, there will be no excuses. Everyone has the opportunity of coming along to the Museum on 21st January to find out what it is all about, including cost, the time that it all takes and the sometimes catastrophic consequences if you don’t make a Will.
There will, of course, be a full Question and Answer session at the talk.”
