Singing is good for you – it’s guaranteed to bring you health benefits and make you feel more positive, as well as being sociable and fun. With this in mind, now is a good time to join a choir!

Following on from the success of their atmospheric candle-lit Advent concert, ‘From Darkness into Light’, Midsomer Choral Society begin their new term on Sunday, 8th January, 6.45 – 8.15 p.m. at St John’s Church Hall, Midsomer Norton.

The work for this spring is Haydn’s Nelson Mass, often described as his masterpiece, which will be performed in St John’s Church on Sunday, 2nd April. Midsomer Choral welcomes new members of any age (our members are aged 14–80+). There is no audition; the ability to read music is an advantage, but not essential.
