Anna Sabine MP has invited children across her constituency of Frome and East Somerset to create her official Christmas card.
The competition is encouraging entries designed with the theme of ‘Christmas in the West Country’.
The children who will be chosen as having made one of the top 10 designs will be invited to a hot chocolate reception, where they will be given certificates and copies of cards with their own design to be shared around.
The winner will see their design be used by Anna Sabine MP as her official Christmas card, which they will send out to local residents, businesses and officials.
Regarding the competition, Anna Sabine said: “I am so excited to open this competition up to all the primary school children in the area and see what creative possibilities they come up with.”
The competition opened on Monday, September 30, and runs until Friday, October 25. Designs can be sent to either [email protected], or The Old Church School, Butts Hill, Frome BA11 1HR. To ensure that children can attend the hot chocolate reception, they are encouraged to write their name, age and what school they attend as part of their submission.
