FROME Town Council has published a draft comprehensive Nature Recovery Plan for comment by the public until August 16.
The final plan will launch in October 2026 and sets out the council’s strategy to protect, promote and restore nature in Frome.
Lead councillor for the climate and ecological emergency Cllr Sara Butler, said “The UK is one of the most nature-depleted places on Earth and we need urgent, sustained action to protect nature – and by extension, to protect ourselves.
“This plan is designed to inform, inspire and bring even more people on board so we can work together, as well as setting clear targets for FTC to meet.”
