MAGIC was in the air as a local care centre community came together to light sparklers and enjoy the festivities of bonfire night.

Residents, families and members of the local community were treated to a very sparkling evening this bonfire night at Kingfisher Lodge care centre in Saltford.
The weather was chilly but dry so blankets were distributed for warmth. People then gathered in the garden with a sparkler in one hand and a glass of prosecco in the other.
A ‘country music’ theme was voted for by the residents and the hospitality team served hot dogs.
One of the residents living there was especially pleased. They said: “It was magical to be out in the dark having a party, we used to do this with our children when they were young, it brings back such wonderful memories.”

General manager Claudia Costinean added: “We love to have nostalgic events such as these that bring back family memories and we are so pleased that so many family members came along to recreate more at our bonfire party.
“It just goes to show your never too old to sparkle!”
