B&NES Council is sending out information on changes to rubbish collection services, which will be in force from 6th November.
Rubbish will be collected fortnightly from this date, in wheeled bins or re-useable bags for the majority of residents. The weekly recycling and food waste collections will continue weekly, with chargeable garden waste staying fortnightly.
To check which new rubbish container you have been allocated, readers can visit: www.bathnes.gov.uk/recycle or contact Council Connect. Where households have two or more children in nappies, six or more people in their household, or a clear medical need, they may be able to apply for a larger bin. If you need to change your allocation, please contact: 01225 39 40 00.
Bins will be delivered from 25th September until early November, across 78,000 households. The bins will be delivered to the front edge of properties and the re-useable rubbish bag to doors. Please do not put out your new bin/bag before 6th November.
