A new storytelling group for pre-school aged children is starting at Peasedown St John Community Library.
Held once a month on the first Monday at 1.30 p.m., it is an opportunity for children (and their parents!) to get lost in a world of fairy tales, mystery and magic.
Library Manager, Karen Walker, said: “Reading and sharing stories can spark your child’s imagination and stimulate curiosity. It helps to develop a young child’s brain, social and communication skills.
“Each month at the library we are inviting parents, grandparents and carers to bring their children along to take part in our new storytelling group. Drinks and snacks will be provided.”
For the first session on Monday, 2nd March, staff and children from the Learning Tree Day Nursery are coming along to take part. Sessions take place in term-time only, and not on Bank Holidays.
