North Somerset's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 4pm July 30 to 5pm September 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip - two-way signals for electrical works.
And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm September 22 to 6am September 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21 lane closures for improvement/Upgrade scheme.
• M5, from 9pm September 22 to 6am September 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip closed for electrical works, diversion via - M5 northbound to junction 20 and return.
• M5, from 10pm September 22 to 6am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to junction 20 lane closures for improvement/Upgrade scheme.
• M5, from 9pm September 23 to 6am September 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to junction 18 lane closures for bridge maintenance.
• M5, from 9pm September 24 to 6am September 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 9pm September 24 to 6am September 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 to junction 21 - carriageway closure for electrical works, diversion - southbound, exit via jct 21 exit slip / return jct 21 southbound, entry slip.
• M5, from 9am September 29 to 11am September 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to junction 20 - hard shoulder only for structure - maintenance.
• M5, from 8pm September 29 to 6am October 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to junction 20 lane closures for improvement/Upgrade scheme.
• M5, from 9pm September 29 to 5am October 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 19 M5 exit and entry slip lane closures installed by North Somerset Council for A369 The Portbury Hundred resurfacing works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
