North Somerset's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 9pm November 30 to 6am December 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to junction 18 lane closures for bridge maintenance.

M5, from 8pm November 30 to 6am December 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to junction 19 - single lane running for carriageway repairs.

M5, from 9pm September 29 to 6am December 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to junction 18 lane closures for bridge maintenance.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm December 1 to 6am December 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21 single lane running for improvement/Upgrade scheme.

M5, from 8pm December 1 to 5am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 exit slip roads - lane closures for North Somerset Council works.

M5, from 8pm December 2 to 6am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to junction 20 single lane running for improvement/Upgrade scheme.

M5, from 8pm December 4 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to junction 19 lane closure for surveys.

M5, from 8pm December 4 to 6am December 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip road closure for inspections, diversion via M5, junction 22 and return.

M5, from 9pm December 4 to 6am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21 single lane running for improvement/Upgrade scheme.

M5, from 8am to 4pm on December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - hard shoulder closure for structure inspections.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
