North Somerset's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
Mendip road closures: one for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Bath and North East Somerset road closures: five for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Road closures: almost a dozen for North Somerset drivers over the next fortnight
Mendip road closures: one for motorists to avoid over the next fortnightBut drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm July 5 to 4am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to junction 20 lane closure for barrier repair.
• M5, from 10pm July 10 to 5am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 carriageway closed between the exit and entry slips for structure maintenance. Includes lane closures over Avonmouth Bridge. Diversion via exit and entry slips.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
