Members of Norton Radstock Tangent gathered to thank Julia Ball for her successful year running the club as chair at the AGM.

The year has been filled with varied activities such as walking tennis, boules and wreath making at Christmas as well as fund raising events to raise money for local charities.

Julia thanked members for their support over the year with a special appreciation to vice chair, Lesley Barber, who would reply “and why not?!” to suggestions of new activities for the year.

The Norton Radstock club is part of the National association of Tangent clubs which is one of the largest women’s organisations in the UK, with around 400 Clubs and 8,000 members.
