A CARE home in Paulton has celebrated the 160th anniversary of Alice In Wonderland’s publication with its own Mad Hatter’s tea party.
Residents, their relatives and staff at Bloomfield Care Home all got involved with the spirit of the day. The room hosting the tea party was decorated with colourful decorations mismatched china tea cups, while the table had a range of savoury and sweet treats.
Staff put on full costumes of famous Alice In Wonderland characters, from the Mad Hatter, to the Cheshire Cat and even the titular Alice herself.
Bloomfield Care Home aimed to make day a celebration of imagination and an escape into a world where anything is possible, as well as to bring people in the home together.
