Paulton’s popular free Party in the Park, which had to be cancelled in 2016, will be back this year on Saturday, 1st July between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m., in the Memorial Park.
Local bands, Call the Shots and Parfanon, will lead the entertainment and there will be the usual attractions, such as majorette displays, displays by local sports groups and martial arts and a visit by a flotilla of vintage cars.
Refreshments will include a beer tent, pizza stall, ice cream and cream teas and children will be entertained by a bouncy castle.
There will also be a host of stalls provided by local organisations and people from further afield.
Chair of the Organising Committee, George Batchelar, said: “The Party in the Park has been massively popular with Paulton people and others in the past and we are hoping that this free event will attract the crowds again in 2017.”
