A planning application has been submitted to B&NES Council to turn the old Party Plus shop, beside NatWest Bank and Casswells, in Midsomer Norton, into two flats.

The property, owned by E.E. Lane and Sons (Holdings) Ltd., who are also the landlords of the recently closed Casswells building after the company went into liquidation, is separated from the surrounding shops with a private road which leads to other housing. The shop has been empty since the summer.

The consultation on the planning application will end on 8th January 2016.
