Maggie’s personal challenge this season is to attempt to put out at least 500 pots of plants, and by asking for donations of £1 per pot, hopes to be able to raise £500 for the charity.
There will be a large selection of cottage garden plants continually put out on the table to include perennials, bedding plants, rockery, vegetables and herbs. Maggie is launching the challenge on 16th April and welcomes plant lovers to come and view the table.
Maggie Blake says: “I love gardening, particularly, growing and nurturing seedlings, and it would be brilliant if my excessive production of plants can continue to raise money for SWALLOW, it’s a great local charity doing wonderful things to support adults with learning disabilities.”
SWALLOW provides a range of help and support for some of the most vulnerable members of the local community and this money will be used to enable them to continue their work.
