Local police attended Radstock Town Council on Monday evening to look further at drug issues within Writhlington and Radstock.
Another meeting has now been called to discuss the ongoing problems, with
police explaining that they need to work closely with residents to build intelligence, which could lead to search warrants, arrest and prosecution. Councillors
expressed their frustration at a perceived lack of action in the area, with the police putting forward a case for further communication.
Councillors also asked about anti-social behaviour on private land and officers further advised on closer working with other town and parish councils on community speedwatch initiatives to help pool together resources.
