Community broadcaster, Somer Valley FM, is hosting a special hustings event for North East Somerset Constituency ahead of the upcoming General Election, on Thursday, 1st June, from 7 p.m. – 8.30 p.m.
With just a week until the country heads to the polls, all five Parliamentary Candidates will be introduced to an audience in Midsomer Norton Town Hall by Dom Chambers, with supporting interviews by Tim Lethaby.
The debate, being run with the Midsomer Norton Community Trust, will be broadcast live on Somer Valley FM on 97.5FM, Digital Radio and online. The event will also include audience questions and comments as well as social media updates.
Local residents are welcome to attend the free event at the Town Hall, with doors opening at 6.30 p.m. – although it is requested that those attending are seated by 6.55 p.m. to ensure a prompt start of the broadcast. The Town Hall’s fully licensed bar will be open for refreshments before and after the show.
