Trustees of Radstock Museum have made a decision to close the facility until it is declared safe to re-open.
Dr Nick Hall, Chair of Somerset Coalfield Life at Radstock Museum, said: “In the light of the Government’s and health experts’ advice presented on Monday this week, the Trustees of Radstock Museum have made the decision to close the Museum with immediate effect and to cancel all Museum events until further notice. This seems the only responsible way to protect our volunteers and visitors, many of whom are in the higher risk groups. Stay safe and look out for news of when we are able to re-open.”
