RESIDENTS are being urged to join an online webinar about on-demand bus service WESTlink, focussing on the service in the Chew Valley. It’s a chance for people to find out more about the service and put questions to the team in charge of the scheme.

WESTlink is a new type of bus service which operates across parts of the West of England. Rather than using a fixed timetable or route, it comes when passengers ask it to. Residents can book it when they need it, or schedule it in advance using the WESTlink app or by phone on 0117 457 8561.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, 6th June, 7pm until 8pm. It will be presented by representatives from Bath and North East Somerset Council, North Somerset Council, the West of England Combined Authority and the Sustainable Transport subgroup of Chew Valley Area Forum Climate & Nature Emergency Working Group.

The webinar is free but you must book a ticket via Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/westlink-demand-responsive-bus-in-the-chew-valley-tickets-636564029147

If the webinar is oversubscribed, organisers plan to run a second webinar at a later date.
