Drivers in and around Mendip will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

A36, from 8pm June 9 to 4am June 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3.6 Beckington traffic lights for tree works (SSE).

A36, from 8pm June 13 to 4am June 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton to Bath Road Rbt - temporary traffic signals for drainage works.

A36, from 8pm June 13 to 4am June 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Beckington lane closure northbound, for drainage works.

A36, from 8pm June 14 to 6am June 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Castle roundabout lane closures in both directions for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
