RESIDENTS and staff at Rossetti House care home in Frome have been helping local families this festive season by collecting donations for the town’s food bank.

The home set up its own food bank drop-off point in the reception area, encouraging the local community to donate non-perishable items. Dozens of donations were gathered and passed on to Fair Frome, an independent charity that provides financial, educational, and social support to people in the local area.

Phil Vale, home manager at Rossetti House, said: “We are always looking for ways to give back and support our community and local charities, which is why we were delighted to partner with Fair Frome.

“In these challenging times, we know many people may be struggling. And with Christmas fast approaching, it’s more important than ever to support food banks that provide a vital lifeline for many members of our community.

“We hope the donations will help struggling families across Frome during the colder months.”
