500 Water-Survival Boxes are destined for survivors of Hurricane Matthew, which devastated large parts of Haiti.

They will be forwarded as soon as we have a guaranteed safe and secure route to reach those most in need. The requirement for water purification is crucial and urgent – further aggravated by the accelerating cholera epidemic.

We now need funds to replace the initial 500 boxes to be able to respond again for Haiti in the weeks and months ahead. Each box can deliver up to 100,000 litres of clean water – so that 100 people can have 10 litres of safe drinking water every day for three months. The first consignment will provide some 50 million litres of purified water.

The cost of a box is just £150 including the air freight charges. Donations by cheque should be made out to Worldwaterworks Limited and sent to Broadway House, Third Avenue, Westfield Trading Estate, Midsomer Norton BA3 4XD or by bank transfer (see account details on our website: www.watersurvivalbox.org/donate/)

Personal donations that may be gift aided can also be made online via our

website.

We are very grateful to all who have already given us their support. On behalf of the people of Haiti – our sincere thanks.
